Constellations (II)
I begged the moon to come and block the sun
To hide the doings of a man undone
But morning she always comes
Regardless of irrelevant things like your want
Were and was not are and is
As if time were some argument
There’s no do done you can ever take back
I’ve tried as a matter of fact so many times
Are you being that thing that you want
To the one you want it from
And if not would you change it
